BDAV Best 10 Star Sustainable Design Challenge Entry 2015

This 10 star house designed for climate zone 10 provides a compact and multifunctional home for couples and young families. The highly energy efficient, modern and non-toxic double storey building provides great solar access to all living areas and bedrooms.

The aim of the design is that by using prefabricated wall and roof system (SIPS) and the reduction of added insulation to a minimum even families on a lower income might be able to afford an highly energy efficient and sustainable home.
