7.0 star Renovation / Extension Blackburn

This charming brick veneer home was in need of a little make over. For once it was a bit dark and gloomy inside, due to shading battens on the existing pergola and dark paint accents troughout. The house was also pretty cold in winter and way too hot in summer – as most existing homes are. And the living room was a little bit too small.

So we set up to retrofit insulation throughout, replaced the existing glazing with high performance double glazing and extended the living room a little bit, enclosing the former decking area.

The result is a beautiful, well performing family home.
