Strawbale House - Ringwood North

Our team was thrilled to help turn our client’s dream of a highly energy efficient, healthy, and sustainable home for their young family into a reality. Despite the site’s steep access, we were able to create a modern family home with all the desired amenities.

The heart of the home is the big open kitchen, living, and dining area. This space is perfect for family gatherings and entertaining guests. The entire house is designed to be bright and spacious with large windows in every room providing breathtaking views of the surrounding hilltops, treetops, and gumtrees. The tranquil ambiance of the home is unmatched.

One of the biggest advantages of strawbale construction is its energy efficiency. Strawbale walls have a high R-value, which means they provide excellent insulation and help keep the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This translates to lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint.

Strawbale homes are also incredibly healthy and sustainable. Straw is a renewable resource that is widely available and easy to source. Strawbale homes are non-toxic, do not emit harmful chemicals, and have superior indoor air quality. Additionally, straw is an excellent material for reducing noise pollution, providing a peaceful living environment.

In summary, our Strawbale house in Ringwood North is a stunning example of a highly energy-efficient, healthy, and sustainable home that is both beautiful and functional.
